Bring your Waltzing Shoes  – Dance Workshop

Have you ever wanted to learn how to waltz?!

The Southampton University Ballroom and Latin Dance Society began the workshop with a performance of a Viennese Waltz; a dance that originated in Austria and Southern Germany but is now a classic part of ballroom dancing culture all over the world. The society then showed the basics of the Waltz that has been danced in ballrooms all over Europe for centuries. The session concluded with a Latin demonstration, showing a different style of dance that the society offers.
