What do we understand by Cartoons?
Cartoons are graphics with satirical and/ or funny contents, and always contain a punch line. It is characterized by illustrations and less texts, but its definition changed over time. In modern usage, cartoons are referred to a non-realistic artistic style of drawing or painting and to a motion picture, which are created by a cartoonist. More over cartoons were originally used to inform people about political news in a critical way and to motivate its reader to reflect about actual circumstances. One of the most famous cartoonists/ caricaturists is George Grosz (Check out the article about him in Visual arts below).
